, I’ve been routinely checking press since Solo came out, and I can’t find any major publications that definitively let The Last Jedi take credit for the box office failure even though it’s the only unique variable.

Unless Episode IX is a movie better than any Abrams has shown the ability to create, it too will suffer from lower numbers. Maybe then TLJ will get the blame.
